HELP STOP SOPA AND PIPA!
An Internet censorship bills, SOPA and PIPA, are being considered by the U.S. government that would give them new powers to block Americans’ access websites that corporations don’t like. The bill lets corporations and the US government censor entire websites and cut sites off from advertising, payments and donations.
As part of an effort to stop Internet piracy legislation, Wikipedia and other popular websites converted their homepages into virtual protest banners.
It worries me that people don’t know about their rights/don’t know things like this are going on. Even if you aren’t going to do anything about it, you should be informed and know what is going on in the world. Especially with something this big that will inevitably effect all of our daily lives.
